Colour match: my region
This French vocabulary matching resource is a great settling activity on the topic of town. It can be used to introduce new vocabulary or as an engaging revision task.
Students colour code the French words and their English translations and then test their memories by writing all the new vocabulary in the blank grid provided. Colour-coded answers are included for you to project, allowing students to check their own work.

I will use this resource to build up vocabulary and practise dictionary skills with my S3 class. I will however do this using the 1 pen 1 dice activity which they seem to enjoy. Nice last period on a Friday activity. Thank you.

Great. Got my lively S2 class focused for a full 40 minutes. I asked them to write the colour in French for each pair in the box too!

I used it for my form 1 classes and it was such a great tool to use.i followed the instructions on how to use it as it is something I have not done and it proved to be effective
