Question and answer starter: school

Hand out the question and answer cards and start a chain reaction around the class! A great way to kick off a lesson with some speaking and listening on the school topic. Teaching notes provided.

To comment the comment about "Mates", being a Spanish speaker native myself, born and raised in Spain. I can confirm that it is actually correct to say "Mates", as we use the subject in plural, "las Mates", instead of "Las Matemáticas". Remember how important it is to us that silly adjective agreement, gender and number. We would not say "la mates" any more than we would say "las mate". Both sound wrong to me.
I think that this is a great resource, thanks.

it is good but I have noticed a bit of a mistake when asking the question : te gustan las mates? We would say Te gustan las mate? Or Tengo mate a las 9 . We say: me gustan las matematicas o me gustan las mate. Apart from that it is a good example on how to practise these questions and answers
