I find this resource extremely useful and it ticks all the right boxes. I have adapted exercise A so that shapes can be formed when filling in the numbers. I think it would be a good idea to ask students to devise one for themselves as well and test their classmates. I think you can even devise a game using the rows of squares as co-ordinates. It's also an excellent way for the students to learn not only to visualise but also to write numbers up to 100 and recall them. Above all, it gives them a taste of arithmetic which may help them in everyday life.
