This card game is based on Happy Families and includes different aspects of French culture and francophone cultures. The aim of the game is for students to collect as many complete 'families' (sets of six cards on the same topic) as they can. The cultural themes on the card include famous monuments, towns, French-speaking countries, famous people and food and drink.

A set of phrases for playing in French is also included, for example 'my turn / your turn'. This game would be a nice activity for a taster lesson, for transition at the start of year 7 or to celebrate the European Day of Languages on 26 September. It could also be used as part of the holidays topic.

Looks good. Thank you. It's given me an idea for a collaborative research activity across 3 classes before the game.
