The aim of this resource is for students to practise using town vocabulary and prepositions in French to describe locations to their partner. Start with the matching activity to revise the names of places in town. Students then work in pairs and are given different versions of a town plan.
The scenario is that a prize has been hidden in one of the locations on the street. To guess where exactly it is students must ask their partner a series of questions in French, using the language from the starter. The person who guesses with the fewest attempts will win the game – and some virtual prize money!
