Bingo: las vacaciones

A set of 14 bingo cards designed for year 8 students, covering the topic of holidays in three tenses. For larger classes you could give students one card between two or simply copy two sets to add a further element of competition. Call out the Spanish phrases provided in the teaching notes at random, ticking them off as you go. The students should listen carefully (as some of the sentences are quite similar), crossing off the matching English sentence if they have it. The winner is the first student to cross off all their phrases and shout ‘Bingo’.
